Strangers who share the same memory

One of my biggest fears in life are changes, I always need a plan, even if it’s just a weekend plan. I hate it when something doesn’t go as planned. If you’re supposed to be picked up at 9pm, then pick me up at 9pm. I don’t want to wait another hour until someone picks me up to finally have some drinks, dance the night away and have a great time with your close’s friends.   It’s been about two years since my very important friendship broke and it’s been a long healing process. It took forever to understand that the time I had with, I’ll keep it a little anonymous and name them here Micky and Minnie, are never going to be the same. First of all, why do people change? Why do we become a different person when we get older?  Part one Minnie She was a complicated person, we were friends, stopped talking for a while, became friends again, stopped talking and you know. It was like a circle or more like a friendship season. I like to think back on the good times, just...

A nightmare on my street

I miss my princess every day and it hurts like it was yesterday as my best friend passed away. I know there’s going to be a couple people who will not understand, why the death of a cat can be so traumatizing. This is a little story about my Lilo was ran over by a car almost a year ago and believe me, I miss her. My husband misses her and my son asks about her almost every day.  I got my baby Lilo in a September weekend (a Saturday) back in 2017. I had to pick her up around 10 AM and guess what, I was hungover af. I think everyone who lives in my area knows why I was so hammed on this Saturday morning😙  Anyways, I picked her up, drove home, opened the transport box and went back to bed because google said, let your new kitty come out by herself and leave her alone. I love google by the way. She was an amazing cat; her character was just perfect for me and my son.  She was friendly, playful and followed my son everywhere he went. She slept with my son and she......

Broken generation

Everyone who knows me, knows how much I don’t like the world we live in. Remember back the days where humans didn’t have a cellphone and you had to meet your friends to have a conversation with them. A world where you don’t share what you ate today and where you’re going next month. Where you live your life with your favorite people for the rest of your life and marriage was ‘’until death do us apart’’.  What a big promise, a promise you should use once in your lifetime and not every ten years. Sadly that’s the world we live in.   My grandparents got married as they were 19 years old and guess what, they are still in love and happy together. My parents who have been married for over 30 years. A couple generations before us, people didn’t give up on each other, they fought for their love and they kept their promise. You learn, grow and fight together. No marriage is always perfect, and I bet my grandparents had their trouble moments too, but they worked through it. I told my ...

My first post

Hello and welcome to my Blog. I wanna share my life as an 25 year old german girl, married to an American Airman, our four year old son and my almost one year old British short hair cat. I was born in February 1995 in a small town in Germany. I spent most of my time with my best friend Laura, outside with our bicycles. My grandpa lived just one street from our apartment. He had rabbits and Laura and I were there almost everyday. We waited every evening for the ice cream truck to stop in front of the playground, so we could enjoy the rest of the day eating our ice cream and watching the sun go down. I was eight years old when my parents and I moved to a tiny village close to the town I was born. It was different without Laura, but I found new friends who lived down the street and had a normal childhood. The most fun part of my life stared when I turned 18. I broke up with my first boyfriend and went to the clubs and bars almost every weekend. I had more guy friends than female fr...
